The Baker household has officially ended the search for that *perfect* BBQ sauce! 😋 It’s not too sweet + we’ve already made so many savory dinners!

My favorite is to use the sauce as a dip for my wings, while Jesse prefers a homemade BBQ Meatloaf. We’re really getting the hang of the whole cooking at home thing (minus a few not-so-yummy dinners 🤤). This new Sweet + Sticky sauce from Head Country has that great flavor that we can’t get enough of! Personally – I’ve become a fan of using it as a dip, but that’s just me. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The Bakers don’t pass judgment when it comes to how you like your BBQ sauce!

There’s something really special about staying home with the person I love to spend quality time with and learning something new together. Cooking isn’t a skill that comes naturally to either of us*, but we’re learning to have fun through all the mistakes and burned food. We’re no chefs, but we’re up for a little homemaking challenge!

I’ll be honest – I love BBQ, but I’ve never been so gung ho about all the craze behind a specific BBQ *sauce* until we started using the one in this glorious little bottle! 😍 I’ve never felt more a part of the Texan culture than I have by admitting that I now have a favorite BBQ sauce. You know what they say, you don’t know what you’re missing until you know. (And let me tell ya, those people are right!) Find Jesse’s BBQ Meatloaf recipe below!

Ingredients
  1. 2 pounds ground beef
  2. 1 onion chopped and sautéed
  3. 1 egg beaten
  4. 1 cup bread crumbs
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. 1 teaspoon pepper
  7. 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  8. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  9. 1/2 cup Head Country BBQ sauce
  10. 2 tablespoons brown mustard
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together (your hands work best)
  2. If the mixture is too wet add more bread crumbs.
  3. Add to a baking dish and top with more BBQ sauce
  4. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
