Seasonal menu featuring new Southern favorites now available
Ida Claire is nothing if not a perfectionist. So with the arrival of spring comes the addition of several new Southern favorites as part of her freshened-up seasonal menu.
For starters, Ida Claire has added four new scratch-made salads featuring fresh spring produce to keep guests cool during North Texas’ notoriously hot summer days:
Bacon and Egg – Mizuna & frisee, Brussels sprouts, lardons, dried cherries, asiago cheese and a sunny egg drizzled in black pepper vinaigrette. ($9)
Quick Pickled Shrimp – Gem, romaine, breakfast radish, grilled asparagus, marble potatoes and ricotta salata served with lemon vinaigrette. ($14)
Chicken and Stonefruit – Kale, Moroccan grilled stonefruit, goat cheese, sweety drop peppers and sunflower brittle with sorghum vinaigrette. ($12)
Low Country Chopped – Gem, mirliton, okra, Benton’s ham, tarragon, pickled peppers, boiled egg and spiced almonds garnished with honey mustard dressing. ($11)
And before you head back out into the heat, be sure to chill out with Ida’s fresh take on the Hurricane, a perfect storm of rye whiskey, vanilla sugar, trio of bitters, flamed orange peel, trio of rums, passion fruit, cranberry, orange juice, grenadine, simple and lime.
Several other items on the brunch, lunch and supper menus have been freshened-up as well, so stop by soon and get your fill of Ida Claire’s chef-driven favorites.
Ida Claire – South of Ordinary – is an intriguing, southern-inspired destination for relaxing suppers and slow weekend brunching, as well as a meeting hub for business lunches and happy hours.
